DeviceXPlorer OPC Server Ver.7.6.0 is released.
2026.04.24
We released new version "Ver.7.6.0" of industrial communication software "DeviceXPlorer OPC Server".
In this version, various new functions have been added, specifications have been improved, and bugs have been fixed, so upgrading is recommended.
Main New Features
- Support Information Model function (a feature that incorporates the address space described in NodeSet files and publishes data linked to tags and scripts).
- Support for database logging functions with Database Clients.
- Support for CODESYS V3 via Ethernet.
Main Improvements
- Added code signing certificate signature to the installer.
- Changed specification of installer so that .NET Framework 3.5 is no longer a requirement condition; instead, pre-installation guidance is provided only when selecting EZSocket or EZSocketNc.
- Improved the issue where configuration changes take a long time when a large number of tags or device settings exist.
- Updated specification so that adding new roles and assigning them to users are allowed. Due to this change, the option "Allow full access to Anonymous"has been removed from the OPC UA server settings.
Main Bug Fixes
- Improved the issue where connected devices were not listed on the wizard screen due to plugin files failing to load upon initial launch after installation.
- Fixed the issue where communication between the Configuration Tool, Runtime, and License Manager was obstructed by PROXY settings, preventing license authentication and log messages from being displayed.
- Fixed the issue where “assign to undeclared variable” errors occur intermittently when running bridges or scripts.
