DeviceXPlorer OPC Server Ver.7.3.0 is released.

We released new version "Ver.7.3.0" of industrial communication software "DeviceXPlorer OPC Server".

In this version, various new functions have been added, specifications have been improved, and bugs have been fixed, so upgrading is recommended.

Main new features

• Support for bidirectional bridge function to synchronize values between specified tags in Bridge Function.
• Support for historical bridge function to insert the value of the specified tag into the historical data of the target tag in Bridge Function.
• Support for the function to partially import/export only specified settings (Device/Port/Group/Tag/Script/Structure) from Project Explorer.
• Support for the function to configure communication settings with devices using the connection destination setting dialog of GX Works3 in the MELSEC EZSocket communication function.
• Support for the function to specify the CPU to be accessed when communicating with the iQ-R series redundant CPU in the MELSEC EZSocket communication function.
• Support for iQ-R series Safety CPU in the MELSEC EZSocket communication function.
• Support for the function to import Global Label from GX Works3 project files (.gx3) and generate tags in the MELSEC EZSocket communication function.
• Support for Rockwell AB Micro800 series.
• Support for Rockwell AB MicroLogix/SLC500 series.
• Support for WAGO Compact Controller 100 series(751-9301/9401).

Main improvements

• Added a setting that does not set the quality flag to Engineering Units Exceeded even if the raw value or engineering value exceeds the range during scale conversion.
• Changed the shortest cycle of Sampling Interval when communicating with subscription in OPC UA server function from 50msec to 10msec.
• Support for Playback function that buffers the received data from the device, and updates the value at the specified cycle in the IEC60870 Ethernet communication function.
• Support for writing by Direct Operate in the DNP3 Ethernet communication function.

Main bug fixes

• Fixed the problem where the runtime application stops working when restarting the license manager in situations where a large amount of logs are output.
• Fixed the problem where the log file size may increase even if the number of log data records reaches the upper limit.
• Fixed the problem where the license manager would stop working if a large amount of logs were continuously output.
• Fixed the problem where the application stops working when a string array data type tag is read in OPC UA communication.
• Fixed the problem where the file size may increase even if the number of offline buffering records reaches the upper limit.
• Fixed the problem where the file size may increase even if the number of historical data records reaches the upper limit.
• Fixed the problem where tag settings with alarm details selected could not be loaded correctly when starting the Ver7.1 project file. (Target version: 7.2.0-7.2.1) in the FANUC Focas communication function
• Fixed the problem where the application would stop working when accessing an OPC UA server with 10 or more NameSpaces registered in the OPC UA Client communication function.
