Fixed an issue where upgrading from “DeviceXPlorer Data Logger Ver3.1.1” or earlier of to Ver3.2.0 fails.

Details of the Issue

When upgrading from Ver3.1.1 or earlier using the “DeviceXPlorer Data Logger Ver3.2.0 Patch Installer” (released on June 30, 2025),
an error occurs during installation, preventing the upgrade from completing successfully.

Workaround

We kindly ask customers upgrading from Ver3.1.1 or earlier to Ver3.2.0 to follow one of the procedures below:

A. Upgrade to DeviceXPlorer Data Logger Ver3.1.2 first, then upgrade to Ver3.2.0

1. Download [Patch] DeviceXPlorer Data Logger V3.1.2 Patch03. Then install.
2. Download [Patch] DeviceXPlorer Data Logger V3.2.0 Patch04 R2. Then install.

B. Reinstall DeviceXPlorer Data Logger Ver.3.2.0 (Serial number re-registration required)

1. Save the serial number currently applied to your DeviceXPlorer Data Logger.
2. Uninstall the existing DeviceXPlorer Data Logger.
3. Download [Patch] DeviceXPlorer Data Logger V3.2.0 Patch04 R2. Then install.
4. Reapply the saved serial number.
