This section explains the error: “This task cannot be completed because another program is busy.”
Overview
This error occurs during OPC DA communication when the server does not respond.
Main Causes
- The server is in a busy state
- The system is waiting because a DCOM connection cannot be established
Solutions
- Please check whether the server is in a “stopped” or “high load” state.
- In most cases, the root cause is incorrect DCOM settings. Please refer to the checklist below and configure DCOM properly.
