SCADA setting Wonderware (DDE/SuiteLink)
It introduces the setting when DeviceXPlorer is used with DDE/SuiteLnk in "InTouch" of Wonderware. Our company doesn't answer details concerning the setting of SCADA, so please get the inquiry in the SCADA vendor or the shop.
Configuration of DeviceXPlorer
To access DeviceXPlorer from InTouch, You make a Device in DeviceXPlorer, and configure DDE/SuiteLink of Device Option.
Check "DDE/SuiteLink" in Device Option, and confifure Topic Name, UpdateRate. You can set Application Name for DDE/SuiteLink in Tool Menu->Option.
Definition of InTouch Access Name
Configure Access Name by WindowMaker of InTouch. Select "Access Name" from "System" menu of InTouch, and define access name.
Input Access Name as any, and input same Application Name, Topic Name as DeviceXPlorer.
Definition of InTouch Tag Name
Specify the above-setting access name, and input the same name as the Tag Name of DeviceXPlorer to Item Name. You can specify dynamic-tag( direct PLC device name eg. M100, D123 etc)
