There is Web service in one of the functions newly added with InTouch7.1. When this function is used, it can be operated as Web application though the InTouch application operates by Window Viewer usually. However, it is necessary to install the InTouch run time in the client machine strictly.
Because the communication is done with http(Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) between the Web server and the client application (browser) when this function is used, the communication that exceeds firewall becomes possible, too.

FactorySuite Web Server |
To use FactorySuite Web Server (hereafter, FSWEBSVR and abbreviation), "IIS(Internet Information Server)" or "Peer Web Service"'s being installed in the server machine becomes assumption. An especially difficult point should be set to operate in the so much on the server side because CGI that displays the application directory is EXE form when forcing it by setting IIS though is not.
The application is developed by a usual operation by the installation of InTouch7.1 and FSWEBSVR if the preparation for the Web server is complete. The file (high compression self-decompression form) for the distribution is made in the WEB directory when completing it by "Application publisher" that exists in the application Explorer. |
Because the becoming it one is prepared, the list of the application that can be downloaded is displayed as a download menu on the client browser side as for CGI program "appdir.exe". The user selects this list and the download execution (installation) will be done to the client of the file for the made distribution.
|
Next, the InTouch application is actually started from a browser. "iview.htm" being offered with the HTML file where the JAVA script is included this time becomes a menu panel. The file downloaded in the local here (installation) operates in a browser when selecting it because the list display is done.

It can be confirmed that the sample application of a standard attachment operates by a browser. |
